Thomas Stone to participate in Comcast Cares Day

Thomas Stone High School is partnering with Comcast and the Black Leadership Council for Excellence to host Comcast Cares Day on Saturday, April 27 from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. The event is part of Comcast's companywide day of community and volunteer service.

As part of the event, Stone students and staff, along with community volunteers will help build vegetable gardens, install fencing for the school's orchard and refurbish the wetland areas on the school campus. Volunteers can also help plant in the creek area located behind the school.

Community members interested in volunteering can register online at The Comcast Foundation is also providing a donation per volunteer to help support the school.
