Superintendent of Schools Kimberly Hill, along with other Charles County Public Schools (CCPS) staff, is hosting a school safety and security Town Hall on Wednesday, Aug. 29 at St. Charles High School. The Town Hall begins at 6:30 p.m. in the school’s auditorium and is set to end at 8:30 p.m.
CCPS staff members will address safety and security issues, recent changes to hiring practices, background checks for volunteers, technology, anonymous reporting and staff training. Following a brief presentation, staff will answer questions, take suggestions and hear comments.
The Town Hall will stream live on the school system website, ccboe.com, and viewers can submit questions electronically. St. Charles is located at 5305 Piney Church Road in Waldorf.
