McDonough Madrigals to perform with Washington Chorus

The Maurice J. McDonough High School chamber choir, “The Madrigal Lords and Ladies,” will sing with The Washington Chorus on an invitation to perform as part of the annual Candlelight Christmas concerts at the Kennedy Center Concert Hall and Music Center at Strathmore Concert Hall.

Ticket prices range from $18 for orchestra seating to $72 for box tier seats and can be purchased at The Madrigals will perform with The Washington Chorus at the dates and times listed below.

  • Sunday, Dec. 13, 5 p.m., Kennedy Center Concert Hall
  • Friday, Dec. 18, 8 p.m., Strathmore Concert Hall
  • Saturday, Dec. 19, 2 p.m., Kennedy Center Concert Hall
  • Monday, Dec. 21, 7 p.m., Kennedy Center Concert Hall
  • Tuesday, Dec. 22, 8 p.m., Kennedy Center Concert Hall

The Madrigals are under the direction of TC Mazzeo, a longtime vocal music teacher at McDonough. The Kennedy Center is located at 2700 F. Street N.W., Washington, DC, 20566. The Strathmore Concert Hall is located at 10701 Rockville Pike, North Bethesda, MD, 20852.
