Last day of school is June 15; teachers last day is June 18

The last day of the 2017-18 school year for Charles County Public Schools (CCPS) students is Friday, June 15. The last day for teachers is Monday, June 18. Two-hour early dismissal days are June 12, June 13, June 14 and June 15.

The schedule is set, barring any unforeseen inclement weather circumstances. CCPS used all five inclement weather days built into the school calendar this year: Jan. 4, Jan. 5, Jan. 9, March 2 and March 21. 

The last day of school for students in the Three’s program is Friday, June 8. The last day of school for morning prekindergarten students is Thursday, June 14. The last day of school for afternoon prekindergarten students is Friday, June 15.

Students in the Three’s program should receive their report card at school by June 8. Prekindergarten students will receive their report cards on their last day of school. All other elementary school students receive report cards on June 15. Report cards for middle and high school students will be mailed on Friday, June 22.

Registration for the 2018 Summer School program is 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. June 27 and 28 at the Robert D. Stethem Educational Center. Classes begin on Monday, July 9 at Thomas Stone High School.
