Charles County Public Schools streams the meetings live on ccboe.com and posts the meetings on CCPS TV website.

Board of Education meetings are held at the Jesse L. Starkey Administration Building located at 5980 Radio Station Road. Regular meetings are held the second Tuesday of most months. CommunityExecutive session is from 12-1 p.m. followed by the Board's regular meeting. Recognition of employees, students and resolutions begins at 4:30. Public Forum begins at 6 p.m.

Community members are invited to participate in Board meetings by speaking at Public Forum.  Registration for Public Forum begins 30 minutes prior to the start of the meeting and speakers have three minutes to address the Board about educational issues.  Public Forums are generally held at 6 p.m. at both the monthly meetings and work sessions.  The purpose of Public Forum is for the Board to receive information for review and consideration.  Speakers should not expect an immediate response or verbal exchange with Board members.  Speakers can provide copies of written information for the Board to review.

The Board also holds work sessions, as needed, the fourth Monday of most months at 6 p.m. beginning with Public Forum. Work sessions and business meetings are open to the public.

Agendas go to the media before the regular meeting. The Maryland Independent publishes information on the agendas. Recorded information is available 24 hours a day by calling 301-934-7410 or 301-932-6656. The agenda is also available on BoardDocs.

Executive sessions may be called at any time pursuant to provisions contained within the Annotated Code of Maryland. These sessions are held in private and cover issues such as personnel, land acquisition and legal matters. Board of Education meetings are held in compliance with the Maryland Open Meetings Act.
