The
Making Art Out Of Trash

The National Art Honor Society and the Advanced & AP Art created these recycle and reuse Art projects that won awards for their creativity at the Charles County Fair. Mrs. Marks students selected a famous work of art and each student painted a section on a used, but clean cardboard pizza box. The globe was created to represent the earth and how as a nation we use too many plastic bottles and are polluting the earth. They collected plastic bottles from lunch and secured them in chicken wire placing the large sphere in an old used tire making it look like a snow-globe. This project had and impact on the students when they realized just how much plastic is thrown away each day.
