Our "Destination Book Fair!" by Scholastic Books will be held in our Library Media Center during December 7th – 18th. We will have an exciting selection of classics, new fiction and nonfiction titles. We are planning to be open on Saturday, December 12th during the PTO Holiday Extravaganza for our first family event and on Wednesday, December 16th, from 4:00 till 7:00 for our finally family event. All children will first preview and then shop with their class during the dates of December 11th – 18th. Books can be purchased by cash, checks, or by credit card. A flyer will come home with your child prior to the book fair and will have your child's classroom preview and shopping dates and times listed. We will need several parent volunteers to help run the book fair to make it a success during the two weeks. If you are a weekly volunteer, I will have a sign up sheet located in the main office starting at the beginning of November. If you are not a weekly volunteer, please contact Mrs. Furman at hfurman@ccboe.com or Melissa Blake at blakeslm@comcast.net to sign up for dates and times that fit your schedule. Any help is greatly appreciated!
Finally, we do greatly appreciate any donation of books in very good condition preferable hardback. We currently need more board books for our younger students. Please bring these donations to Mrs. Furman in the Media Center. We would like to thank all the parents who save their empty printer INK cartridges and old cell phones and send them in for our recycling program. Due to the high cost in shipping, we DO NOT recycle Laser cartridges so please only send in the INK cartridges only.
