Wade is currently using the web based version AR Enterprise! AR Enterprise gives the students access to over 120,000 reading practice quizzes and any new quiz that is published! So, this means students can read books not only from our school library but, from the public library, home or anywhere. Students can then check their comprehension by taking a quiz on the computer at school and are given immediate feedback on their progress. If you have books at home and you would like to see if there AR quizzes for them please check out the following web site www.arbookfind.com or just click on the bear at the bottom of the page. New quizzes are added weekly so check it regularly for brand new books. You can search by title, author, topic, or your reading level (ZPD) on this web site. Please write down the quiz number on the book so your child can take their quiz at school. Quizzes can ONLY be taken at SCHOOL!
Each classroom teacher will individualize and manage this program to fit the needs of their classroom and each student based on their independent reading level. Teachers will establish guidelines and set quarterly goals for their students based on their independent reading level (ZPD). This program is used as a supplement to our wonderful reading program here at Wade. We are very exciting to implement this awesome program and hope that it encourages all of our wonderful readers to reach their greatest reading potential!
