Language Arts

Our Middle School Language Arts and Reading program is designed to give the students an opportunity to actively engage in viewing, listening, speaking, writing, and thinking skills while implementing the conventions of standard English. We use the comprehensive literacy model to implement the targets and indicators within the Charles County Curriculum and the Content Standards of the Voluntary State Curriculum. We also have a successful reading program for students that read below grade level called Meeting the Middle.
