Parent Teacher Organization (PTO)
General Smallwood Middle School
The objectives of the GSMS PTO is to:
- To enhance the educational and cultural opportunities of General Smallwood students,
- To promote the emotional and physical well being of the children of the school, the community, and the home,
- To build a closer relationship between the home and school, so that parents, guardians, and teachers may cooperate in the education of children and youth; develop between educators and the general public such united efforts as will secure for every child the highest possible advantages in physical, mental, and social education,
- To encourage a cooperative effort and facilitate communication between the community and the school system.
2009 - 2010 PTO Membership Meetings
6:30 PM in the school cafeteria
All meetings are scheduled the 2nd Monday of every month except October when it will be held on Tuesday October 13.
If school is closed, there is no meeting that month.
