Dear Parents,

This year J. P. Ryon Elementary School is taking the next step towards the integration of technology into the learning process!  We recognize that technology is both motivational and educational for children.  Rather than pass out a huge packet of math problems to be completed and turned in, we have developed a website of the best, and most grade-level appropriate, math games on the internet!

Students will be held accountable for the work that they complete by writing in the name of each activity on the "Summer Math 2008" sheet that was sent home with each child at the end of the school year.  (Additional copies can be printed on the website for each grade.)  An adult will need to initial beside each game to verify that the activities were completed.

If a home computer is not available for the student(s), P. D. Brown Public Library has computers available for public use.  They can be reached at 301-645-2864.
