Piccowaxen Middle School is in the southern most region of Charles County. Our school consists of 6th, 7th, and 8th grade students with a student body population of approximately 500 students.
**Important New Promotion Rules for Charles County Middle Schools**

Piccowaxen Middle School continues to accelerate academic achievement, provide a safe learning and work environment, and looks for ways to build home-school-business-community partnerships. We are comprised of highly qualified faculty/staff; a professional learning community committed to creating opportunities for success for ALL students.
We are very proud of our academic achievement, student GPA, attendance rates, extra curricular participation, student and faculty recognitions, and positive student behavior reflected in our school data. We are determined to be the BEST MIDDLE SCHOOL!
