Parent Information
Volunteers
Parent volunteers are vital component to the success of our school environment. Your child will be proud to have a parent that is an important part of the Dr. Mudd community. Volunteers help teachers with many important tasks and add a family atmosphere to the school. Please ask your child's teacher what you can do to volunteer at Dr. Mudd Elementary School.
P.T.A.
The Dr. Mudd P.T.A. is an active group that provides support to the school as well as an additional avenue for parents to participate in their child's educational career. The current Vice President for this school year is Mrs. Veronica Jennings. Mrs. Jennings can be reached by calling the voice mail system at 301-934-7200 and accessing the P.T.A. voice mailbox at extension 3556. The goal this year is to reach 75 members, so please join! All P.T.A. correspondence comes home on purple paper for easy recognition.
