Parent Teacher Organization
The Mt. Hope/Nanjemoy Elementary School Parent-Teacher Organization is an association of parents or guardians of children enrolled at Mt. Hope, Mt. Hope staff members, school administrators, and concerned members of the community. It is the goal of the Mt. Hope PTO to provide social, educational, and economic support to the school community.
We are committed to working together for the benefit of our school, faculty and children; and collaborate on various efforts, including:

Meet with the PTO!
The Mt. Hope PTO meets on the 3rd Tuesday of each month, at 6:00pm, in the Cafeteria. Dinner is provided. Bring your children along, we provide Kid Entertaining (rather than babysitting). Some months our dates may alter from the 3rd Tuesday due to various events happening at Mt. Hope, so always double check here first!
This year we are actually combing PTO and Volunteer night into one so can we move the Volunteer Nights paragraph up under Join the PTO and then have Volunteer/PTO Night with the following dates:

After collecting your box-tops and labels, just return to the school and the PTO will take care of them. Plus, when using your grocery cards – you have to scan them in for the school to receive the credit, entering your phone number won't do it…
