Mr. Greg Miller

Greg Miller has served as the principal of Arthur Middleton Elementary School Elementary since 2004. He was also the principal of Indian Head Elementary School from 2002-2004.
Mr. Miller began his teaching career in 1986 as a middle school language arts teacher in Charles and Calvert counties in Maryland. He produced the school plays and was a middle school track coach. He was vice-principal at St. Leonard Elementary School in St. Leonard, Maryland. He has written a chapter in the book titled Promising Practices in Character Education, Volume 2. Mr. Miller earned his Bachelor's degree in English Education from Clarion University, a Master's degree in Administration from The George Washington University, and is pursuing a doctoral degree from the University of Maryland in curriculum theory.

My name is Patricia Mooring. I previously served four years as vice principal at Gale-Bailey Elementary School before my recent transfer to Arthur Middleton Elementary School.
In 1985, I started my career as a Special Education Resource teacher at Walter Bracken Elementary School in Las Vegas, Nevada. I taught at Bracken for two years before being transferred to Europe with my military husband. During my five and a half years in Europe, I taught in the Department of Defense Schools in Italy and Germany. I became an employee of Charles County Public Schools in the summer of 1993 as a Special Education Teacher at Dr. Thomas L. Hidgon Elementary School under the leadership of the late Dr. Patricia Grote. In the fall of 1995, I started teaching 5th grade at Mt. Hope/Nanjemoy Elementary School and stayed there for ten years. I spent the last three years there teaching 4th grade. I accepted the position of vice principal at Gale-Bailey Elementary School the summer of 2005 and remained until 2009.
I received a Master's Degree in Elementary Education and Bachelor's Degree in Special Education from Alcorn State University. I earned certification in Administration from the College of Notre Dame.
