Charger Time
Charger Time is a privilege, not a right – let's make it work!
Charger Time is an opportunity for students to participate in extra-curricular activities, get extra instructional help from teachers, socialize with teachers or peers, and eat lunch.
Charger Time occurs during an extended 6th period, which is broken into two sessions:
Session A = 11:35 to 12:05
Session B = 12:05 to 12:32
Students are expected to get to their 7th period class ON TIME, by 12:37. The schedule of Student Offerings is tentatively set to change three times a year, in the Fall (begins first day of school), Winter (tentatively Nov. 15), and Spring (tentatively Mar.1). Charger Time Rules and Regulations

Charger Time is an opportunity for students to participate in extra-curricular activities, get extra instructional help from teachers, socialize with teachers or peers, and eat lunch.
General expectations during Charger Time include:
· Be respectful and clean up your own trash and areas
· Act appropriately and responsibly at all times
· Students may not use cell phones (at any time between 7:25 and 2:15)
· Students are not permitted to eat outside or to leave campus for lunch
Students may eat lunch in:
· Cafeteria
· Front lobby area
· Academic wing hallways
· Main hallway
· Classrooms, with teacher permission and supervision
· Designated courtyard areas
· Gymnasium
Students may not each lunch in:
· Media Center
· Computer Labs
· Auditorium (off-limits during entire lunch period)
· Stairways and ramp area
· Gym locker rooms
· Parking lots
Students are encouraged to:
· Visit teachers for extra help
· Make up tests or quizzes
· Work on school work or homework
· Use the media center
· Make necessary appointments
· Visit with school counselors or Career Center Coordinator
· Attend club meetings
· Attend peer mediation, if necessary
· Attend review and/or remediation sessions
· Participate in sports/activities in the gym/pool
· Socialize with friends
Compliance with all school rules and regulations will be strictly enforced during Charger Time. Failure to adhere to established school rules will result in the appropriate administrative consequences plus the loss of Charger Time privileges.
