Terrific Three's news  November UpdatesOur theme this month is We Are Thankful. We will be working on the color brown, squares, the number 3, patterns, positional words (beside, in front of, in back of, above, below), graphs, capacity (more and less), the letters in our name, health and nutrition and the letters Dd, Ss and Nn. The Humane Society is visiting our classroom on November 12. We also have a field trip scheduled to Giant Food Store in La Plata on November 20. Please check your child's folder for the permission slip. Please remember read with your child every night for at least 15-20 minutes. This helps tremendously with getting them ready to read.
Our project for this month will be to decorate turkeys for Thanksgiving. Please remember that your child should do the majority of the work. Parents and guardians are there to help. You have all month to complete the project but we would like them back as soon as possible to display in our classroom.
Please remember that all bedding is sent home at the end of the month to be washed. Please don't forget to return it the following Monday. November 5 is Parent/Teacher conference day. Letters were sent home in October to sign up for a time. If you have not already, please contact Ms. Saxon to schedule one.
