Emergency Closing Days

Four emergency closing days are built into the calendar. If not used, they will be deducted from the June closing date. The deletion of school days if there is a mild winter will occur in the following order:

June 14, June 13, June 12 and June 11 (2012-13 school year)

In the event that numerous harsh weather conditions or other events require Charles County Public Schools to close schools more than four days, the addition of school days will occur in the following order:

Feb. 18 (Presidents Day), April 5, April 4, April 3 and April 2 (2012-13 school year)
