Emergency Closing Days

Four emergency closing days are built into the calendar. If not used, they will be deducted from the June closing date. The deletion of school days if there is a mild winter will occur in the following order:

June 15, June 14, June 13 and June 12 (2011-12 school year)

In the event that numerous harsh weather conditions or other events require Charles County Public Schools to close schools more than four days, the addition of school days will occur during spring break in the following order:

April 2, April 3, April 4 and April 5 (2011-12 school year)
